We’re beyond thrilled to have brought the adrenaline-pumping action of the F1H2O World Championship to life with seamless event execution, dynamic setups and an electrifying atmosphere! At Topaz Event Management, we transform prestigious events into unforgettable experiences. From concept to reality, we make every detail count.

Held as the UIM F1H2O World Championship “Road to Sharjah – Grand Prix of Sharjah” from 6 to 8 December 2024, the event brought the world’s fastest powerboats to the waters of Khalid Lagoon against the Sharjah skyline. For Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, we delivered a shaded VIP grandstand with lounge seating and national flags, a large curved LED podium wall with full sponsor branding, the winners’ podium ceremony and race-day operations for 1,000+ spectators and guests.

What the client needed

Host a world-class stop of the UIM F1H2O World Championship that showcases Sharjah to a global audience.

Provide comfortable, premium viewing for VIPs, teams, officials and 1,000+ spectators along the waterfront.

Present the championship, Sharjah and sponsor brands prominently for live broadcast and media.

Stage polished podium and prize-giving ceremonies for the race winners.

Coordinate seamlessly with SCTDA, race organisers and partners across three race days.

What we delivered

To bring the F1H2O Grand Prix of Sharjah 2024 to life, we delivered:

VIP Grandstand & Hospitality A shaded tensile grandstand with tiered seating, VIP lounge furniture, greenery and participating nations’ flags.

LED Podium Wall & Branding A large curved LED wall carrying the Grand Prix of Sharjah identity and full sponsor branding for broadcast.

Podium Ceremonies A checkered winners’ podium and prize-giving set-up for the race winners and dignitaries.

Waterfront Spectator Areas Spectator seating, flags and waterfront set-up giving fans clear views of the racing on Khalid Lagoon.

Race-Day Operations & Management Sound, technical support, guest flow and on-site event management across all race days.

The outcome

The F1H2O World Championship 2024 delivered three days of high-speed racing and an electrifying atmosphere on the Sharjah waterfront. With a premium VIP grandstand, a broadcast-ready LED podium and seamless race-day operations, Topaz Events helped SCTDA host 1,000+ spectators and showcase Sharjah to a worldwide audience.
